When a new .pk domain is registered or an expired/deactivated .pk domain is renewed, the domain may not become active immediately. Although the expiry date or registration status updates in the system right away, PKNIC requires some time to process and propagate the DNS changes across their servers.
Because of this process, the domain may remain inactive or may not resolve properly for a short period after registration or renewal. Normally, it takes approximately 4–6 hours for the domain to become fully active and start working normally.
This delay is part of PKNIC’s internal processing and propagation, so we kindly request customers to allow up to 4–6 hours for the domain to become fully functional after registration or renewal. If the domain is still not active after this time, you may contact our support team for further assistance.
