If your email access is blocked or unable to check emails despite using the correct password, the issue is usually related to the public internet IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), rather than your email account or the server itself. In our region, many users share the same ISP, and public IP addresses are assigned dynamically. Recently, the same IP address was used by another customer who repeatedly attempted incorrect email configurations. As a result, the server firewall automatically blocked that IP as a security precaution.
Today, your ISP reassigned that same public IP address to your internet connection. Since the IP was already blocked at the server firewall level, your email access was temporarily restricted.
Please note the following:
- Your email account was not hacked
- Your domain and hosting services are secure
- This was a preventive security block triggered due to IP reuse by the ISP
To resolve this, you may:
- Contact us to whitelist your current internet IP address on the server firewall
- Restart your internet router to obtain a new, unblocked IP address from your ISP
- If this issue occurs frequently, we strongly recommend requesting a dedicated (static) IP address from your ISP. A dedicated IP does not change and helps ensure uninterrupted email access.
